Book reviews in 100 words or less – so you get busy reading!
All is Not Forgotten is an intriguing and intelligent psychological thriller. It is about a 15-year-old girl who is brutally attacked and raped at a party. Her parents agree to a controversial treatment that erases the gruesome and horrible memory. Though the treatment is successful, the terror remains… Wendy Walker has impeccable writing and memorable characters. I look forward to more books by this amazing writer. Also, a movie is in the works. Let’s hope it’s as enjoyable as the book!
As soon as I started reading this novel, I knew it was a winner. It was suspense with a sprinkle of romance. This is the second book I have read from Colleen Hoover, but definitely not my last. I find her writing captivating and unique. If you have never read any of her novels, I encourage and recommend, It Ends with Us.
Just like the cover of the book states, “no one ever just disappears.” All the Missing Girls, is a smooth read with interesting twists. The story centers on two young women who go missing in the same small town, but ten years apart. Though the story is told in reverse, it did not complicate or confuse the flow or ruin the plot. This is Megan Miranda’s first adult book and I am a fan.
